On 8 September, CIHEAM Zaragoza hosted the third meeting of the Organising Committee preparing ENOMAQ 2027, the International Exhibition of Machinery and Techniques for the Cultivation, Processing and Packaging of the Food and Beverage Industry. The committee reviewed the programme and activities for the forthcoming edition, which will take place from 26 to 28 January 2027 at Zaragoza’s exhibition centre Feria de Zaragoza. ENOMAQ 2027 will mark a turning point for the exhibition, with a comprehensive rebranding and incorporation of new sectors.
The meeting reviewed the latest developments in marketing and internationalisation. 75% of the exhibition area has already been reserved compared with the 2025 edition, while agreements with major sectoral associations have been renewed. The international scope continues to expand, with the participation of companies from 26 countries, ranging from Germany, France and Italy to the United States, Japan, India and Türkiye.
The committee also discussed new features for ENOMAQ 2027, including ‘Connecting Talent’, an initiative already successfully implemented at other events organised by the Feria de Zaragoza. It aims to bring the sector closer to younger generations through meetings with professionals and guided tours of exhibitors, creating opportunities for young talent to connect with the industry. The first ENOMAQ ‘Connecting Talent’ programme will take place on 28 January 2027.
Preparations are also under way for ENOMAQ’s 50th anniversary gala, which will bring together exhibitors, associations, institutions and specialist media. The event will also recognise the winners of the Technological Innovations and Improvements Contest and Excellence Awards. The committee has appointed the juries for the different categories, including representatives from the University of Zaragoza (UNIZAR), the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM), the Aragonese Association of Oenologists (AAE), Campo de Borja Designation of Origin, the Spanish Federation of Oenologists Associations (FEAE), Mercacei publishing group, the Higher School of Olive Oil (ESAO) and the Spanish Association of Beer and Malt Technicians (AETCM).
The programme of technical workshops is also taking shape, covering key issues facing the sectors represented at ENOMAQ: wine, viticulture, olive growing, oil technologies, brewing, arboriculture and food and drinks. Planned sessions will address sustainability and climate change, digitalisation and artificial intelligence, the circular economy, wine tourism and dealcoholisation, providing a forum for discussion of current challenges and opportunities for the sector.

As in previous editions, ENOMAQ will feature a ‘Tasting Corner’, highlighting the quality of the agricultural products represented in the exhibition. Organised with contributions from the Spanish Federation of Oenology, the Spanish Association of Oil Mill Masters and Operators and the Spanish Association of Beer and Malt Technicians, it will include tastings of dealcoholised wines, Garnacha wines, olive oils and beers.
ENOMAQ 2027 will be the exhibition’s 25th edition, combining its established specialist focus with a broader approach to the sectors it serves. For further information and exhibitor registration, visit the official ENOMAQ 2027 website.
